Nursery Practioner
Social Care & Education is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established nursery in Leicester. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, committed to providing a safe and nurturing space for babies and young children to learn, play, and grow.
Duration: Full Time, permanent
Location: Leicester, LE2
Salary: £22,000 per annum
The Role
• Record and monitor children’s daily progress
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers and staff
• Support nursery management and fellow team members
• Adhere to nursery policies and procedures
• Ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene
• Create imaginative, fun, and educational activities for children
The Requirements
• Qualified in Early Years at NVQ Level 3 (Level 2 may be considered)
• Sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build partnerships with parents and carers
• Deep understanding of child development and learning
• A collaborative team player, willing to assist with tasks like snack preparation and cleaning
