Support Worker - Birmingham

West Midlands £12.80 - £12.90 / Hour

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join our Birmingham-based supported living service, supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. Whether you’re after part-time or full-time hours, we offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals live independently, safely, and confidently. You’ll be part of a team that values your input and focuses on person-centred care. Your day-to-day tasks may include:

Assisting with personal care, meal prep, and household routines
Encouraging independence, confidence, and wellbeing
Supporting individuals to access the community and engage in meaningful activities
Following tailored care plans and behaviour support strategies
Helping with medication administration and maintaining accurate records
Building strong, trusting relationships through empathy and professionalism

Who We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
Calm, adaptable, and confident in varied situations
Excellent communication and observational skills
A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to care
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins and lone working
Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
Right to work in the UK
