Leicestershire £12.80 - £12.90 / Hour

Social Care & Education are currently looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work in a residential care home in Kirby Muxloe (LE3).

About the Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting them with their daily needs while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This is a rewarding role for someone who is caring, reliable, and confident working in a residential care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting residents with mobility, including the safe use of hoists and moving & handling equipment
Assisting with meals, hydration, and daily activities
Providing emotional support and companionship
Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in residents’ needs
Working effectively as part of a professional care team

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar care setting
A caring, patient, and professional approach
Confidence using hoists and moving & handling equipment
Good communication and teamwork skills
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
