Support Worker - Kidderminster

Are you a patient, caring Support Worker who enjoys helping someone live independently and do the things they love?
Social Care & Education is recruiting a Female Support Worker to support a service user in there own home.
We are looking for someone who will get to know her interests, respect her choices and provide reliable, person-centred support.
Your responsibilities
Support her daily routine in line with her care and support plan.
Encourage independence and respect her decisions.
Support outings and activities in the community.
Take part in arts and crafts and other activities she enjoys.
Provide sensitive support around her eating disorder, following agreed guidance.
Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with the wider support team.
What we are looking for
A full UK driving licence and confidence driving an automatic vehicle.
Availability to work the full 30-hour weekly contract across early and late shifts.
A calm, patient and consistent approach.
An understanding of autism, routines and person-centred support.
Previous care or support experience; experience supporting someone with autism or an eating disorder would be beneficial.
